Spire South Bank Hospital achieves JAG accreditation for the fourth year

Spire South Bank Hospital’s Endoscopy Suite has again achieved JAG accreditation for the fourth year, maintaining the ‘gold standard’ in endoscopy services.
JAG accreditation is the formal recognition that the suite has met all the requirements to deliver a safe, quality service. South Bank is proud to have demonstrated a high standard of staff training, short waiting times for patients and continual monitoring of the service.
To achieve the award, endoscopy services are subject to an initial thorough assessment followed by a five year cycle of annual inspections to retain the award. At the end of 2020, South Bank will undergo the full assessment before the cycle starts again. The huge demands of the award means a dedicated nurse is specifically responsible for JAG, ensuring all audits are completed and actioned.
