I am an experienced Consultant Urologist with four years of dedicated consultant practice, I specialise in core urological health and complex laparoscopic renal surgery. What sets my practice apart is my commitment to providing a streamlined, rapid-access diagnostic pathway whilst offering the latest and safest urological surgical procedures. I look forward to the opportunity of properly unpacking and understanding your concerns; then developing the most appropriate personalised treatment plan with ready access to follow up.
I have performed over 100 laparospica renal surgery procedures as a Consultant with over 200 as a trainee. I have performed 500 core urological procedures, ranging from circumcision, hydrocele repair, cystoscopic operations such at TURP, TURBT, and renal stone surgery including rigid and flexible ureterorenoscopy lasertripsy and stone retrieval.
I specialise in laparoscopic renal surgery and am in the process of establishing robotic renal surgery at the Trust. I also offer the full range of core urological surgical and diagnostic procedures. I was instrumental in setting up the LATP prostate biopsy service at the Trust. I am looking to develop an Aqua-ablation service for benign outlet obstruction surgery.
I am a clinical and educational supervisor for resident foundation doctors and registrars. I undertook the lead governance role for Urology between 2023-24 at the Trust. I am the head paediatric urologist and have recently established closer collaboration with Birmingham Children's Hospital.
I have undertaken a PGCE in Healthcare Leadership and Management at Exeter University.

I have 4 energetic young children and a wife who is a GP in the area. I am heavily involved in the local community, coaching the junior cricket and rugby team. I still love playing or watching sport when I can find the time for it!
