My clinical expertise includes phacoemulsification cataract surgery, including complex cases, cataract surgery in patients with diabetic eye disease, age‑related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, other retinal vascular diseases.

I am a high‑volume cataract surgeon with consistently low complication rates, offering safe, modern surgical techniques tailored to each individual patient.

I also provide intravitreal injection and implant procedures for retinal disease, including: Lucentis, Eylea, Avastin and Ozurdex.

These treatments are used to manage conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic macular oedema and retinal vein occlusion, helping to preserve and improve vision.

I have been an investigator in multiple research trials for retinal diseases and I am passionate about innovation, education and continuous improvement in ophthalmic care.

I am currently Medical Retina Lead and Specialist and Audit Lead for Ophthalmology at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

I also serve as a Senior Academy Tutor for University of Birmingham medical students, supporting the training of the next generation of doctors.

Prior to my appointment in Worcester, I was Eye Casualty Lead and Medical Retina Specialist at Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre, and a Royal College of Ophthalmologists Tutor for ophthalmic surgical trainees from 2008 to 2012.
