I have been a consultant vascular surgeon in Worcestershire since 1994 and specialise in modern, minimally-invasive treatments for varicose veins. I have been performing duplex ultrasound scanning as part of a one-stop consultation/assessment since 1999 and have been regularly performing endovenous thermal ablations (laser and radiofrequency) and ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy under local anaesthetic since 2004.

I believe in providing a bespoke treatment pathway to each patient to ensure that their exact needs and requirements from treatment are fulfilled. The vast majority of patients with varicose veins can be treated without the need for a general anaesthetic in an ambulatory setting.

I have now given up the assessment the treatment of arterial disease, to concentrate on management of patients with varicose veins.
