I am a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Worcester, appointed to my current NHS post at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in 2018. My clinical practice involves the assessment and management of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, scalp, and neck, offering specialist care for both routine and complex maxillofacial problems for patients across Worcester and Worcestershire.
My work includes the treatment of facial deformity, facial pain, and jaw joint (TMJ) disorders, as well as the management of salivary gland disease, oral lesions, and a wide range of conditions requiring oral medicine and oral surgery. I regularly perform surgical removal of teeth, including wisdom teeth removal, providing safe and effective treatment tailored to each patient’s needs.
I have a specialist interest in skin cancer surgery of the face, scalp, and neck, including the treatment of basal cell carcinoma, achieving a 98% tumour clearance rate for basal cell carcinomas. I routinely manage complex surgical defects following skin cancer removal, using reconstructive techniques to restore both function and appearance wherever possible.
I am also experienced in the management and removal of benign skin lesions, including cysts, moles, warts, and skin tags, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment for both medical and cosmetic concerns.
I am a member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, working collaboratively to plan and deliver care for complex skin cancers affecting patients across Worcestershire.
As a Worcester‑based oral and maxillofacial surgeon, I provide local access to specialist care for conditions involving the head and neck, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the county for expert treatment. My approach combines technical precision with a strong focus on patient understanding and reassurance.
I understand that seeing a surgeon can feel daunting. My priority is to ensure every patient feels listened to, reassured, and fully informed about their condition and treatment options. I take time to explain each step in clear, straightforward language, so you know exactly what to expect.
Every treatment plan is individually tailored, taking into account your concerns, goals, and overall wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on safety, outcomes, and patient confidence.
