Treatment restrictions due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

As part of our longstanding relationship, we are proud to be dedicating our resources to the NHS at this important time. As a result many of our treatments are currently suspended and we are reviewing all planned procedures and consultations. We are making every effort to talk to impacted patients and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Professional profile

In 2006 I was appointed as a Consultant Breast and General Surgeon at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. I spent my penultimate year of training in one of only nine National Oncoplastic Breast Fellowships, learning how to use plastic surgical techniques to complement and enhance the results of breast cancer surgery.

I obtained a first in medical sciences at Cambridge University and then did my clinical training at Oxford University. I then spent the next 13 years in surgical training, largely in London teaching hospitals, before moving home to the West Midlands. As part of my training I did a master’s degree which involved looking at gene therapy in the prevention and treatment of cancer. I have been a member of the NHS multidisciplinary team as well as clinical lead. I am fully trained in breast reconstruction and I offer this as part of my regular NHS practice.
