I am a Consultant Dermatologist in Worcester with extensive experience in both, medical dermatology and advanced dermatological surgery. I have worked as a Consultant Dermatologist since 2017, beginning my consultant career in Wales.
I now provide specialist dermatology services for patients in Worcester and the surrounding areas.
The following services are provided in my clinics:
Assessment of skin growths of any type, moles, chronic sun damage (actinic keratosis) and skin cancers: I see patients for whole body skin checks, for assessment and surgical removal of lumps in or on the skin and any types of skin cancers at any body sites (facial, torso and limbs) including complex surgical repairs (flaps and grafts). Non-surgical removal methods such as freezing (cryotherapy) are also available.
I regularly diagnose and treat a wide range of medical dermatological conditions such as: psoriasis, eczema, hair loss (alopecia), vitiligo, Lichen planus, Lichen sclerosus, acne, rosacea, pigment disorders, skin itching (pruritus), hives (urticaria) and other rarer chronic skin disorders.
From the outset of my career, I pursued my interest in advanced dermatological surgery with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
Alongside this, I am committed to maintaining broad expertise across all areas of general medical dermatology, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with both common and complex skin conditions.
I secured a highly competitive dermatology fellowship, which provided specialist training in dermatological surgery and reconstruction (flap and graft repairs), skin cancer diagnosis and management, Mohs micrographic surgery and laser treatments.
My subspecialised training enables me to offer surgical treatment with the best possible functional and cosmetic outcomes.
This broad clinical exposure in medical and surgical dermatology and also a Masters in aesthetic medicine and skin ageing, has contributed to a well‑rounded understanding of dermatology. It allows me to provide holistic, evidence‑based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Please be aware Mohs surgery and laser are not available at Spire South Bank Hospital.
