Mr Noel Fisher

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in lower limb surgery. My NHS practice is based at Macclesfield District General Hospital, my private rooms are at Spire Regency Hospital. 

I graduated from Manchester Medical School in 1999 where I developed an interest in surgery. I completed my training in Birmingham working at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine and at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital where I was appointed as Honorary Clinical Lecturer in 2009. My expertise is in knee replacements, foot and ankle infusions, complex lower limb trauma, knee arthroscopy and foot and ankle surgery.

Since being appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Macclesfield District General Hospital, I have built up a practice in Foot and Ankle surgery and joint replacement surgery.

I have presented original orthopaedic research nationally and internationally and published several papers on lower limb surgery in peer-reviewed literature. I have a particular interest in looking at functional outcomes following orthopaedic operations.
