I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist offering private care at Spire Regency Hospital, Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. I have specialist surgical expertise in state‑of‑the‑art micro‑incision (keyhole) cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery, providing high‑quality, personalised care focused on safety, precision and excellent visual outcomes. I graduated with a medical degree from the University of Manchester and developed an early interest in ophthalmology. This was further strengthened through elective experience at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and during an influential period working in the Cook Islands. After completing rotations in general medicine and surgery, I undertook my postgraduate specialist ophthalmology training in the West Midlands Deanery.
Following completion of my core specialist training, I was awarded a further fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at the Birmingham Midland Eye Centre, one of the largest tertiary referral centres in the UK. This advanced training supports my expertise in both functional and aesthetic eyelid surgery alongside cataract and refractive procedures.
I am actively involved in education and training and serve as a clinical supervisor, teaching ophthalmology trainees cataract and oculoplastic surgery. I have published several peer‑reviewed articles, regularly review papers for medical journals and have presented my work at national and international meetings. I am an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a full member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society, a national body dedicated to excellence in research, training and clinical standards in oculofacial surgery.
I am also cosmetic surgery board certified with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
