I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon with subspecialty interest in spinal surgery. I commonly operate on a variety of spinal conditions including cervical and lumbar disc prolapse, canal stenosis, spinal tumours and spinal instrumentation. I also have interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery.
I have a specialist clinical interest in back pain and sciatica, cervical disc surgery, cervical myelopathy, lumbar disc surgery, neck and arm pain and spinal injections.
My NHS post is in Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre based in Salford Royal which is one of the busiest units in the country.
I am committed to medical education and training the next generation and have active involvement in Post Graduate Medical Education in Salford Royal.
