Personal Profile

I am motivated by the impact that strabismology and paediatric ophthalmology have on patients either by maximising vision or by improving their appearance, employment prospects and quality of life. I find this very rewarding. I enjoy communicating with patients and building a strong rapport with them and their families.

I regularly go to the theatre, art exhibitions, concerts (classical and obscure rock bands). I particularly enjoy reading Victorian ghost stories, watching foreign cinema and paintings by Russian avant-garde artists. I also enjoy mid-distance running and scuba diving, I am studying Hindi.
