Consultant Urologist

FRCS Urol

Specialises in

With over a decade of experience in Urology, including four years as a consultant Urologist, my professional emphasis has been on implementing a personalized approach to treatment, tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each patient under my care.

I have expertise in general Urology, encompassing comprehensive diagnostic assessments for prostate, bladder, and testicular cancer. My competencies extend to the medical and surgical management of lower urinary tract symptoms in both males and females, addressing issues related to flow, urgency, and frequency.

Additionally, my skills cover the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) and various penile and scrotal surgeries, such as circumcision, frenuloplasty, hydrocele repair, and the removal of epididymal cysts.

Furthermore, I am adept at performing surgeries for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including both transurethral resection of the prostate and the UroLift procedure. My commitment lies in providing comprehensive care across a spectrum of urological conditions, ensuring the wellbeing of my patients.

I have actively contributed to advancing cancer services as the designated cancer lead for Urology at Countess of Chester Hospital. My primary focus has been the enhancement of diagnostic pathways through strategic redesign. My efforts have been particularly concentrated on the introduction and development of progressive techniques such as transperineal biopsies of the prostate and transurethral LASER ablation for the treatment of bladder tumours.

I am in the process of setting up one stop clinic for men with benign prostatic hyperplasia. I have established local anaesthetic UroLift service for patients with bladder outlet obstruction.
