Specialises in
I am a Consultant Surgeon with a specialist interest in upper gastrointestinal and hepato-biliary surgery, with a particular focus on keyhole (laparoscopic) procedures.
I see patients with a range of conditions affecting the stomach, oesophagus and gallbladder, including reflux, hiatus hernia and gallbladder disease. I also treat more complex conditions, such as oesophageal and stomach cancers, and offer a range of advanced surgical options tailored to each patient’s needs.
Much of my work involves minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery, which can help patients benefit from smaller incisions, less discomfort and a quicker recovery. This includes procedures for reflux and achalasia, as well as hernia repair and bariatric (weight loss) surgery, including revisional procedures where further treatment is needed.
Alongside surgery, I also carry out diagnostic endoscopy to help investigate and manage upper gastrointestinal conditions.
Having trained in London and with many years of surgical experience, my approach is centred on providing clear, straightforward advice and supporting patients in making informed decisions about their care.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and have a keen interest in technology.
