I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with over 30 years’ experience, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions.
I treat common problems affecting the nose, sinuses, throat and ears, including hearing and balance disorders, as well as conditions such as snoring. I also assess patients with suspected head and neck cancers and work closely with specialist colleagues to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care when more complex treatment is required.
My particular areas of interest include ear surgery, such as cholesteatoma surgery and eardrum repair (myringoplasty), as well as nasal procedures including turbinate reduction to improve breathing. I also perform a range of routine ENT procedures, including tonsil and adenoid surgery.
Throughout my career, I have focused on advancing surgical techniques, including introducing endoscopic sinus surgery locally and being an early adopter of tools that are now widely used in modern ENT practice.
Alongside my clinical work, I have held a number of senior leadership roles, most recently as Chief Medical Information Officer at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, where I supported the use of digital technology to improve patient care.
My approach is centred on clear communication, ensuring patients feel informed, reassured and supported throughout their treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, DIY projects, spending time outdoors and relaxing with family.
