Specialises in
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle conditions, with expertise in both routine problems and more complex deformities and injuries.
I see patients with a wide range of concerns, including bunions, arthritis affecting the big toe, midfoot and ankle, heel pain and tendon problems such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles issues. I also treat injuries and trauma to the foot and ankle, helping patients recover function and return to daily activities.
I offer both non-surgical treatments and surgical options where needed, including minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures. These modern techniques can help reduce pain and improve recovery times where appropriate.
I have a particular interest in managing heel pain conditions and have led specialist services focusing on these problems for a number of years. I also have experience in correcting deformities and treating more complex foot and ankle conditions.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research and education, contributing to advances in foot and ankle surgery and supporting the training of future clinicians.
I understand how much foot and ankle problems can affect mobility and quality of life, so I take time to listen carefully and provide clear, tailored advice to support each patient’s recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time with family.
