Mr Qi Yin

I treat a wide range of problems, from common shoulder and elbow conditions through to more complex cases, including sarcoma and nerve-related conditions. I work closely within a regional multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with both routine and highly specialised concerns.

With over 15 years’ experience as a consultant, I have developed expertise in managing complex cases and performing advanced surgical procedures. I am also the Lead Clinician for the Liverpool Sarcoma MDT, helping to coordinate care across the Cheshire and Merseyside cancer network.

Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research, education and teaching. I have published widely in peer-reviewed journals and regularly contribute to national and international conferences, helping to advance knowledge in orthopaedic surgery.

My training has taken me across internationally recognised centres in China, Hong Kong and Liverpool, giving me a broad and diverse clinical background.

I understand that many orthopaedic and tumour-related conditions can be complex and worrying, so I focus on clear communication and providing reassurance throughout diagnosis and treatment.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and maintaining a balanced, active lifestyle.
