Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow conditions, with experience treating both routine problems and more complex injuries.
I care for patients with a wide range of concerns, including frozen shoulder, sports injuries, tendon problems such as tennis or golfer’s elbow, and nerve conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome. I offer both non-surgical treatments and surgical options where needed, including minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures as well as open surgery.
I completed my surgical training in the North West and went on to undertake advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery. I have been working as a consultant in Liverpool since 2009, as part of a specialist upper limb unit, and also practise privately at Spire Liverpool Hospital.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold leadership roles within trauma and orthopaedics and am actively involved in teaching and training healthcare professionals. I also contribute to research and ongoing developments within shoulder and elbow care.
I understand how painful and limiting upper limb conditions can be, so I focus on providing clear explanations and tailored treatment plans to help patients regain movement and return to their usual activities.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active and pursuing interests such as gardening and sport.
