Professional profile
Prior to practising Integrated medicine, I had a 15 year exemplary mainstream NHS background, having held senior NHS posts at the previous Liverpool Royal Infirmary, Fazakerley Hospital (now Aintree University Hospital), Walton Hospital, Mossley Hospital and within the Community Health sector in Liverpool.
During the past 30 years I have added to my NHS experience by completing extensive training in Integrated Medicine, specifically Homeopathic Medicine and Allergy and Intolerance screening. I have received training in these areas in the UK, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, and the USA.
I now specialise in the management of dietary related symptoms as well as general allergy eg airborne and pet allergies and also food intolerance. My experience has taught me over the years that diet and what we consume may play an important contributory role in the causation of many everyday acute and chronic illnesses.
I presently see patients with a range of common disorders eg IBS, abdominal (tummy) distention, flatulence, skin problems, eczema, acne and psoriasis, joint and rheumatic pain, asthma, headaches and migraine, and many other general medical conditions. I can offer help and advice with conventional laboratory screening/investigations for general, pet, airborne and food allergens and also food intolerance.
As a first line approach to allergy management I fully support the use of conventional treatment eg antihistamines, including the necessity of steroids and Epipen’s where necessary.
However, I am able to offer Homeopathic Medicine as an adjunctive option, which may optimise treatment outcomes for patients with both allergies and food intolerance. Where food intolerance exists, I can offer additional advice on modification of diet and lifestyle.

Personal Profile
I am originally from the West Midlands but now live on the Northwest coast. I have a busy home life and despite having a GP and an aspiring Consultant in Oncology in the family, I tend to avoid health topics at home.
My other interests include English Feudal history, classical music, cycling, gardening and generally keeping fit and active. I'm proud to hold the titles Lord of Little Witley and Lord of Hurcott, Worcestershire, which were previously held until 2003, by the late William Humble David Ward the 4th Earl of Dudley. This has given me an immense opportunity to highlight and support various charities and good causes throughout the year, especially those affecting young children with fatal genetic illness.
