Virtual consultations:
I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery, with a particular focus on helping patients regain comfort and function following injury or long-term conditions.
I treat a wide range of problems affecting the hand, wrist and elbow, including carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s disease and arthritis. I also have a special interest in wrist injuries and their longer-term effects, as well as managing degenerative conditions such as wrist arthritis, including joint replacement where appropriate.
My approach is centred on understanding how symptoms are affecting your day-to-day life and working together to find the most suitable treatment, whether that’s non-surgical care or an operative solution. The aim is always to improve movement, reduce pain and help you get back to the activities that matter to you.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and training the next generation of surgeons, and I contribute to improving standards of care through research and education. This means I stay up to date with the latest techniques and developments in hand and wrist surgery.
I live locally on the Wirral with my family and enjoy keeping active in my spare time, including skiing, tennis and travelling.
