Specialises in

  • Ear diseases (repair of ear drum and cholesteatoma surgery)
  • Benign head and neck diseases
  • Dizziness

  • Sinus surgery

I am a Consultant ENT (ear, nose and throat) Surgeon with a specialist interest in ear, balance and skull base conditions, as well as a wide range of general ENT problems.

I see patients with a variety of concerns, including hearing and balance disorders, nasal blockage, sinus conditions and head and neck lumps. I also carry out ear surgery, such as repairing eardrum perforations and treating cholesteatoma, alongside procedures for nasal and sinus conditions including polyps and deviated septum.

A key area of my practice is the assessment and treatment of balance disorders, and I lead the dedicated balance (vestibular) service at Aintree University Hospital. This allows me to support patients experiencing dizziness or instability with detailed assessment and targeted treatment plans.

I completed my medical training and early specialist experience in Egypt before moving to the UK to continue my training in both Birmingham and Liverpool. I am now based at Aintree University Hospital as a Consultant ENT and Skull Base Surgeon.

I understand how much symptoms such as dizziness, hearing loss or nasal problems can affect daily life, so I take time to listen carefully and explain treatment options clearly.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and playing tennis.
