I am a Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist based at The Walton Centre in Liverpool, where I have worked since completing my specialist training.
I specialise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions, including migraines, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. I also provide highly specialised tests to assess nerve and muscle function, including nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG) and EEGs, which help to build a clear and accurate diagnosis.
At Spire Liverpool Hospital, I offer dedicated neurophysiology assessments such as nerve conduction tests and EMG for patients referred by other clinicians. These investigations can help identify conditions affecting the nerves and muscles, from common issues like carpal tunnel syndrome through to more complex disorders.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold a number of leadership and teaching roles, including Clinical Lead for Neurophysiology and Chief Clinical Information Officer at The Walton Centre. I am also actively involved in education at both a regional and national level, supporting the training of future specialists.
Originally from the West Midlands, I now live in North Wales with my family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with them and keeping active.
I aim to provide clear explanations and reassurance throughout the diagnostic process, helping patients better understand their condition and next steps.
