I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 20 years’ experience, caring for patients across Merseyside and West Lancashire since 2005. I specialise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of digestive conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), reflux, indigestion, constipation, diarrhoea and anaemia.
A large part of my practice focuses on endoscopy, where I carry out procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP to both investigate symptoms and provide treatment where needed. I also have expertise in more advanced techniques, including the removal of larger or more complex bowel polyps, helping many patients avoid the need for surgery.
Alongside my clinical work, I play an active role in bowel cancer screening and prevention, and I am part of the specialist team supporting patients through diagnosis and treatment. I also work across both Whiston and Aintree hospitals, ensuring patients have access to high-quality care and the latest developments in endoscopy.
I am passionate about delivering clear, honest advice and helping patients feel at ease. Whether you’re attending for reassurance or ongoing care, I aim to provide a thorough assessment and a treatment plan tailored to you.
