Hand therapy

Providing specialist treatment for the hand and wrist – including treatment following surgery

The treatment of hand and wrist problems is a specialist area of physiotherapy in its own right. At Spire Little Aston we have a dedicated hand team who work closely alongside our hand consultants to provide specialist treatment following surgery and for those who are being managed non-surgically.

The types of conditions that are commonly treated are:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Dupuytren’s contracture
  • Hand or wrist fractures
  • Tendinitis

Our team make bespoke thermoplastic splints when required as part of this service.
