"The atmosphere at Spire Little Aston is nothing but supportive and friendly, everyone has been happy to help with anything I have asked. They truly go above and beyond for all their patients."
I have been a qualified dietitian for three years (2022). During this time I have been working in both acute and community settings, aiding patients with complex nutritional needs. I have a keen interest it bariatrics and weight management, which I have some involvement with in the NHS setting, closely working with the surgical team to enable patients to achieve their goals.
I also have a keen interest in IBS and IBS-like conditions, my hope is always to enable patients to prevent flare ups of this condition through dietary manipulation. I also have experience in enteral feeding as well as nutrition support for patients in need of gaining/maintaining their weight for treatments and illnesses.
I provide training and education at my NHS Hospital trust to nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants regarding nutrition and dietetics as part of their general training. I also provide training to dietetic students from Coventry University as part of their degree course and placements.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Miss Katie Vincent at Spire include:
