I am a consultant hand and wrist surgeon at Spire Leeds Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. I have worked as a specialist consultant surgeon since 2002, treating conditions affecting the hand and wrist.
I offer a comprehensive range of treatment for conditions affecting the hand and the wrist. I am able to provide an experienced specialist opinion and subsequent management, including those conditions that are not considered straight forward.
In addition to managing the local population, I provide a service for the management of complex conditions which are referred from other surgeons throughout the region. I am routinely asked by my colleagues in the surrounding hospitals to provide my opinion and to take over the management of difficult and complex cases.
I offer treatments for the following; arthritis of the hand and thumb, fractures of the distal radius (wrist) and scaphoid, hand trauma, Kienbock's disease, , non-union scaphoid fractures including treatment with vascularised bone grafts, Ulnar abutment, wrist ligament injuries and wrist pain. I also offer minimally invasive treatments using wrist arthroscopy (keyhole surgery)in my practice at Spire Leeds Hospital.
