I am a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Leeds, specialising in cosmetic surgery, skin cancer surgery and complex reconstructive surgery. I provide treatment for adults and children across my NHS and private practices.
As Lead Clinician for Plastic Surgery and Sarcoma at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, I have extensive experience treating complex skin cancers, soft tissue tumours and performing advanced reconstructive surgery. My expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), sarcoma and other skin and soft tissue lesions, together with reconstruction following cancer treatment. I have particular expertise in conditions affecting the face, scalp, head and neck.
Alongside my reconstructive practice, I offer a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast uplift, implant removal and exchange, nipple procedures and gynaecomastia correction. I also perform body contouring surgery for patients seeking to address areas following weight loss, pregnancy or other life changes. Procedures include tummy tuck surgery, liposuction and arm lift. Head and neck procedures include eyelid or eye bag surgery (blepharoplasty), ear pinning (otoplasty) and split earlobe repair.
My practice also includes mole, cyst, lipoma and skin lesion removal, skin grafting, scar revision surgery and complex wound reconstruction. In addition, I offer anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and treatment for excessive sweating.
I provide paediatric plastic surgery consultations for children from birth, with surgery undertaken from the age of four where clinically appropriate. Procedures include the surgical removal of moles, skin lesions, cysts, lipomas, birthmarks (under 5cm) and accessory nipples, as well as the surgical correction of prominent ears.
I completed my specialist plastic surgery training in Yorkshire before undertaking advanced fellowship training in Australia. I spent a year at the Australian Craniofacial Unit before completing a further fellowship at Royal Brisbane Hospital, specialising in head and neck surgery, skin cancer surgery and reconstructive techniques.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am committed to education and training. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds, Training Programme Director for Plastic Surgery in Yorkshire and Humber, and a member of the Court of Examiners for the FRCS (Plast) examination.
I am a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), where I serve as Honorary Treasurer, and I am listed on the GMC Specialist Register. I also serve on the Medical Advisory Committee at Spire Leeds Hospital, supporting high standards of patient care.
