I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Spire Leeds Hospital and Spire Harrogate Clinic, with a specialist interest in hand surgery. I treat a wide range of hand conditions, helping patients manage pain, improve movement and regain confidence in everyday activities.

The hand conditions I commonly treat include carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease, ganglions and arthritis of the hand. Hand surgery is usually performed under local or regional anaesthetic, allowing many patients to return home the same day. In addition to hand surgery, I also perform procedures including mole removal, cyst and skin tag removal, skin cancer excision and scar revision.

I perform more than 1,000 procedures each year across my NHS and private practice. Since 2010, I have worked full-time within the NHS at Leeds General Infirmary, treating both elective and emergency plastic and hand surgery patients.

Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in postgraduate surgical training and I am part of the surgical team on the hand transplant programme. I am also the Clinical Lead for Hand Surgery at Leeds General Infirmary.
