I aim to provide patients with accurate, timely and thorough diagnosis and management. I qualified in 1990 from the University of London and began cardiology training in Leeds in 1994. I completed my MD thesis at the University of Leeds evaluating treatment of heart attack patients.
My areas of specific interest are: ischaemic heart disease (angina), hypertension and cardiovascular risk calculation, palpitations and rhythm disturbances, heart failure, non-invasive and invasive investigations (angiography) and pacemaker implantation.
I am the medical director for advanced life support (UK Resuscitation Council) courses.
