I am a Respiratory Medicine Consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of respiratory diseases. My specialist expertise is in severe and difficult-to-control asthma, biologic therapies, and Long COVID. I also manage a broad range of respiratory conditions, including COPD, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, chronic cough, and unexplained breathlessness.

I regularly lead the West Yorkshire Regional Severe Asthma Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), working collaboratively with colleagues across the region to optimise patient care and access to advanced therapies. This role allows me to provide expert assessment and management for patients with complex and severe asthma.

Alongside my clinical practice, I perform advanced diagnostic procedures including bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). I am actively involved in clinical research and clinical trials, helping patients gain access to innovative treatments while contributing to advances in respiratory medicine.

I have authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in respiratory medicine and played a key role in establishing the Long COVID Rehabilitation Service in Leeds. The service received national recognition, winning the British Medical Team of the Year Award for Innovative Medicine in 2022. I continue to maintain a specialist interest in Long COVID rehabilitation and its long-term respiratory consequences.
