I have been a GP for 25 years, so I have considerable experience in dealing with the very wide range of problems that present to primary care.
My other main interest is in medical education. I have been training doctors to become GPs for over 20 years and I also teach medical students from the University of East Anglia. I believe that teaching and training alongside clinical practice helps to keep me up to date and enthusiastic about General Practice.
