Is 2018 the time for you to make that change?
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Simon Thomson at Spire include:
I graduated from University of Manchester Medical School in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1993. I undertook specialist registrar training in general surgery in North West Thames.
I was awarded two research degrees, MD for breast cancer work and BSc (Hons) in Anatomy. My final year of training in breast surgery included attachments at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London and at the Christie and South Manchester Hospitals.
I have a rapid diagnosis breast clinic where patients with symptoms in their breast are referred by their GP. They may have a mammogram, and dependent on their age, they may also have an ultrasound. Both of these tests are carried out by a consultant radiologist specialising in breast imaging and results are available immediately. Patients also have the opportunity to talk with a dedicated breast care nurse. Biopsies may be carried out during this clinic and results are usually available within 48 hours.
