I am a Consultant General Surgeon, with a special interest in advanced laparoscopic upper GI and weight loss surgery.

I am pleased to offer a large range of common general surgical procedures which will be performed through a keyhole route wherever possible to minimise pain and for a faster recovery. My main areas of interest are in the treatment of obesity, reflux disease, gallstones and hernia. I am happy to see patients of varying complexity, for both primary and revision (redo-) procedures.

I qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in 2001, and have enjoyed outstanding Postgraduate Training in London, the South East and the West Midlands. I undertook a period of research at Imperial College London and a fellowship in Bariatric and Complex Upper GI Surgery at St George’s Hospital, London before taking up a Consultant post.

In addition to maintaining high standards in my NHS and Private Practice I am also a trainer in bariatric surgery, keyhole hernia repair, trauma and endoscopy.

I have an NHS base at Bedfordshire Hospitals where I am the Clinical Lead for Safety and Clinical Governance, and the welfare of my patients’ is at the heart of all my activities.
