I run general neurology clinics every week at Spire Bushey and Spire Harpenden Hospitals, where I see patients with all neurological symptoms and conditions, including dizziness, blackouts, tingling and numbness, headache, migraine, seizures, stroke, dementia and Parkinson's disease.

Clinician colleagues and GPs seek me out for my clinical opinion. Being able to provide a clear understanding to patients of what they have wrong with them and how it can be treated has always been very important to me.

I qualified as a doctor with honours in 1993, having read medicine at Oxford University and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital. At Bart's, I was awarded (jointly) the CC Frears in Clinical Neurology and spent my elective period at the Department of Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  I was appointed consultant at Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital in 2007. In 2013, I moved into private practice full-time.
