I am a Consultant Robotic General and Colorectal Surgeon, and one of the few specialists in the UK to offer a fully robotic surgical practice. I perform all general and colorectal procedures—including hernia repair—using the latest DaVinci robotic system to provide precise, minimally invasive care.
I was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2020 and completed specialist fellowship training at the renowned Basingstoke Peritoneal Malignancy Institute, focusing on advanced colorectal cancer. I then undertook dedicated robotic colorectal training at Oxford University Hospitals before taking up my current post as a consultant surgeon at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital.
I specialise in providing General Surgery and Colorectal surgery care to patients. I offer minimally invasive surgery to manage patients with inguinal, umbilical and incisional hernia repair. I also treat patients for bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), and diverticular disease.
Alongside my clinical work, I have served as Assistant Professor of General Surgery at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and I currently hold the role of Surgical Lead for Undergraduate Medical Education at University College London. These roles reflect my dedication to continually improving patient care through education, research, and innovation.
