I just want to thank you all for your exceptional care during my stay last week (4 – 7 April 2017) for my hip replacement.
I’m now on day 7 post-op and doing well, including my first walk around the garden today.
Despite the stress of the impending surgery, without a doubt everyone provided the most compassionate care. The speedy responses to my fainting/dizzy do’s were so reassuring. Being offered hot drinks through the night was so unexpected but so welcome.

Having spent 35 years working in the NHS at local, regional and national levels, I have a good understanding of the pressures in services. I feel incredibly lucky that my CCG contacted Spire. It was interesting to talk with Amy and her student about the differences of public and private healthcare in terms of quality of care and particularly surgery.
