Professional profile

I studied medicine at Trinity College Oxford. I returned to Yorkshire after my ‘House Jobs’ to join the Leeds surgical rotation. I then joined the Yorkshire Orthopaedic rotation, gaining experience from a number of centres across West and North Yorkshire.

I then completed my spinal training with a fellowship in Sheffield. My spinal fellowship included a period on the Visiting Surgeon Program with Dr Daniel Riew and Dr Lawrence Lenke in St Louis, USA.

I returned to Leeds, as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon, in 2009.

Special Clinical Interests: Radicular pain, Spondylolisthesis, Adult and Paediatric Spinal Deformity, Degenerative thoracic and lumbar conditions, Coccydynia, Acute spine trauma, Metastatic spinal disease, Spinal infection
