Spire Dunedin Hospital, part of Spire Healthcare Group and a leading provider of private healthcare in Reading, Berkshire, is delighted to announce a new official two-year partnership with Reading Football Club.
As part of the new agreement, from the 4th of December Spire Dunedin Hospital will serve as Reading Football Club’s preferred choice for the men’s first team, providing the club with specialist clinical expertise, advanced diagnostics, and comprehensive care to support the players. The official agreement follows Spire Dunedin Hospital’s successful, long-standing relationship of providing imaging services to the players.

Founded in 1871, Reading Football Club is one of the oldest professional football clubs in England, known affectionately as ‘The Royals’. The club has a proud heritage and deep connection to the local community.
Through the two-year partnership, Spire Dunedin Hospital will:
- Provide access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, orthopaedics and sports medicine services.
- Support Reading Football Club players with specialist clinical assessments and rapid access to treatment pathways.
