Follow signs to Crondall and in the village centre, opposite the post office and stores, take a left turn signposted 'Farnham'. Clare Park Hospital is then three-quarters of a mile on the left.
From the east of Farnham
Use the A31 bypass to the west of the town. Take the third exit at the A325 roundabout leading to the town centre. Please be aware that there will be roadworks taking place on Farnham Road and the surrounding area. A new roundabout is being constructed and will replace the existing A287 Farnham Road / Redfield Lane Junction. The works are set for completion by autumn 2022.
The roadworks will commence on 2 August 2021 and will be carried out by Buxted Construction. As they progress with work on the highway, they will occupy different parts of the road.
The standard working hours for the roadworks are:
But please note that working can take place outside of these hours.
What these roadworks mean for you
The A287 (Farnham Road) will remain open to two-way traffic for the duration of time during the constructions. However, a reduced speed limit of 30mph will be introduced on the A287, and both Redfield’s Lane and Bowling Alley will be closed to through traffic.
As a result of Redfields Lane and Bowling Alley being closed, diversions will be put in place as follows:
It has been agreed with Hampshire County Council that Redfields Road and Bowling Alley will remain closed for the duration of the works, meaning that these diversions will stay in place until all work is completed in autumn 2022.
