I qualified at the Middlesex School of Physiotherapy in 1986 and worked in various London hospitals gradually specialising in the musculoskeletal field. I moved to Spire Clare Park in 2001. I treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and have a special interest in the upper limb enhanced by working closely with the upper limb orthopaedic consultants. I have a wealth of experience in the rehabilitation of the shoulder and will provide specific treatment programmes for different pathologies and for those patients who have had an operative procedure. I am always keen to use my organisational skills to produce pathways and protocols. I have developed my knowledge of hand conditions and treatment and can supply bespoke thermoplastic splints. I also work on the wards at Clare Park treating patients pre and post operatively.
I achieved a BTEC advanced award in moving and handling people and equipment and have a role in leading the manual handling training and delivering it to all the departments within the hospital. I have acquired my BAHT level one qualification and am aiming to complete a level two component in 2019. I actively continue my professional development with evidence-based courses and conferences.
