I am a Consultant Orthotist, recognised as one of only two working in the NHS and specialise in biomechanics, gait analysis and the prescription of orthoses in the management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular lower limb conditions.

I currently work as the Clinical Lead at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust Hospital. I have been working with the team at Spire Dunedin Hospital since 2010 and more recently at Spire Clare Park and Spire Leicester.

I qualified as a Medical Mechanical Engineer from Dublin in 2004, which focused on the medical application of biomechanics. I then qualified from Salford University with Honours in prosthetics and orthotics, which involved rotations at Nottingham City Hospital and the Robert Jones and Angus Hunt Hospital. In 2014, I attained a Master's degree in clinical biomechanics from Staffordshire University. I provide training to orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons and other allied health professionals in the management of foot and ankle as well as being a guest lecturer in both engineering and orthotics at undergraduate level.

Along with supporting the physiotherapy team and orthopaedic consultants within Spire, I also support a large number of professional teams across a number of sports eg England Rugby Team, Bath Rugby, Bristol Bears Rugby, Saracens Rugby, Somerset County Cricket, Hampshire County Cricket, Millwall FC, Wimbledon FC, Reading FC and Formula 1. I have supported the GB rowing and para-rowing teams for over 10 years.
