Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Gavin Brigstocke at Spire include:
I treat all aspects of hand and wrist surgery including fracture surgery.
I was brought up in Hampshire and educated at Canford School. I graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2004 and undertook his higher orthopaedic training on the South West Thames rotation. I am a dual fellowship trained having completed fellowship posts in trauma surgery in New Zealand and hand and wrist surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. I was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital in 2015.
I have a broad practice encompassing all aspects of hand and wrist surgery with a specific interest in wrist injuries. I have won several awards for my research into motion preserving surgery of the wrist that I have presented internationally and published in peer-reviewed journals. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
