Specialises in

  • Colorectal surgery
  • Endoscopy

I am a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in gastroenterology. I often see patients with symptoms such as: reflux, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding and perianal/abdominal lumps. I have extensive experience diagnosing, assessing and treating anorectal conditions including: anal fissures, anal fistulae, haemorrhoids, rectal prolapse and rectoceles. I also regularly perform both open and laparoscopic surgeries, such as hernia surgery and cholecystectomies.

I completed my medical degree at the prestigious Medical School of the University of Nottingham in 1995. I then completed my basic surgery training at Frimley Park Hospital and completed specialist training whilst working in the South West Thames Region. I became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998.

I am highly experienced and renowned for my developed laparoscopic skills. My expertise is a result of hard work and commitment in the field as I carried out 2 years of clinical research at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where I obtained my MS degree and further 18 months of training at the Royal Surrey and Frimley Park Hospital, focusing on laparoscopy and colorectal surgery.

I was first appointed as a Consultant in Colorectal. In 2007 I was appointed as the Colorectal Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital, where I provide a wide range of services for patients requiring an expert's care.
