I am originally from Dublin and qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2003. Prior to undertaking specialist radiology training in the UK, I worked in hospitals in Dublin completing the basic surgical training scheme. In 2009 I moved to Bristol to begin specialist radiology training. Having obtained my FRCR I moved to Sheffield having secured a place on their highly regarded Neuroradiology fellowship. In Sheffield I gained expertise in the full range of adult neuroradiology techniques and also trained in foetal and paediatric neurological imaging. I have several publications and have presented at both national and international conferences. I have also completed all four modules of the European Course in Diagnostic Neuroradiology. I was appointed as Consultant Neuroradiologist with a special interest in paediatric neuroimaging in Bristol in 2014 and provided an adult and paediatric neuroimaging service to Bristol and the south west with my colleagues.
