I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery, offering treatment at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. I provide consultations, injection therapies, shockwave treatment and surgical management for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a Consultant Trauma and Foot and Ankle Surgeon at the Countess of Chester Hospital. I previously held a similar clinical role at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I also served as Associate Medical Director for Surgery and Cancer.

I completed my orthopaedic training at Wirral University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where I gained advanced experience in the management of complex elective, revision and trauma‑related foot and ankle conditions. Prior to this, I undertook six years of specialist orthopaedic training in the Mersey Deanery after graduating with Honours from the University of Liverpool School of Medicine in 2003.

My clinical practice covers a broad range of foot and ankle conditions, including Achilles tendon disorders and reconstruction, ankle ligament injuries and reconstruction, arthritis of the foot and ankle, bunions, big toe arthritis, and complex deformities such as cavus and flat foot. I also manage sports injuries, stress fractures, tendon injuries and transfers, and conditions such as tibialis posterior tendon dysfunction, plantar fasciitis and heel pain, including the use of shockwave therapy.

I perform a wide range of procedures including osteotomy surgery, ganglion and bony lump excision, treatment of chronic compartment syndrome, correction of toe deformities, and management of rheumatoid foot conditions. My practice also includes the use of injections for painful foot and ankle conditions.

I offer both face‑to‑face and virtual consultations where appropriate, and self‑pay patients are able to arrange an appointment without the need for a GP referral.
