MBBS, FRCP, FRCPE, FEBG
I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist for over 25 years and have worked at Wrexham Maelor Hospital since 2004. I have extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatological disorders.
I have significant experience in endoscopy and have been performing gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy procedures for over 30 years, with performance indicators consistently above national standards.
My clinical practice covers a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions. This includes the investigation and management of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhoea and constipation, and disorders such as dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease and coeliac disease. I also manage gastro‑oesophageal reflux disease and Barrett’s oesophagus, as well as patients presenting with swallowing difficulties.
In addition, I provide assessment and treatment for liver disease, including abnormal liver function tests, and undertake bowel cancer screening and surveillance where appropriate.
My approach is based on delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred care across all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology.
