Lisa is a highly experienced Registered Dietitian. She has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and has 14 years’ experience. Lisa worked in the NHS for over 10 years in a variety of clinical settings empowering and supporting clients manage their medical conditions through diet, lifestyle & behavioural changes.
Lisa provides advice for diet-related chronic disease management and specialises in treating patients with a combination of complex medical conditions. Her specialisms include advice for long term weight loss using her unique skills which she has gained through behaviour therapy training and her experience of working in Specialist Weight Management Centres. She has specific training in helping clients overcome emotional/comfort eating. Lisa also has a specific interest in helping clients improve their digestive health, such as IBS. She offers a new highly effective treatment - the low FODMAP diet using advanced dietetic knowledge with specific training (from Kings College London) using the latest evidence for treating symptoms. Lisa uses the latest dietary scientific evidence to provide practical, long term solutions to each individual in a supportive way.
Lisa has written articles on omega-3 fats and cardiovascular disease in peer reviewed journals and appeared on BBC radio regarding evidence for weight management.
