Cataracts and glaucoma – all you need to know.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Isaac Nyamekye at Spire include:
I graduated from University of Bristol Medical School in 1988 and trained in general and vascular surgery at University College London, Sheffield, and Bristol. The emphasis of my private practice is the expert treatment of varicose veins. Since 2004 I have embraced and practiced the minimally invasive techniques for treating varicose veins
These endovenous treatments have virtually eliminated the need for groin incision and stripping, leading to significantly improved patient satisfaction and early return to normal activity. This has subsequently been endorsed by NICE guidance CG168 on Varicose Veins: This guideline recommends all varicose veins patients undergo a Duplex Ultrasound Scan to determine the cause treatment with endothermal ablation whenever possible, followed by Ultrasound-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy and only if this was not possible should conventional varicose vein surgery be considered. This had been my approach for over a decade. I also undertake a comprehensive range of arterial vascular operations and transthoracic sympathectomy for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
