Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Tom Heafield at Spire include:
I qualified at St Mary's in 1984 and worked in Derby and Birmingham, and was appointed consultant neurologist to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Midland Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in 1994. Between 1996 and 2005 I worked in the TIA service and Neurocritical Care Service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
I run three or four NHS clinics per week at Worcester including a Neurology/Obstetric clinic and a day case neurology service.
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital I run two clinics per week and take part in the Regional Neurosciences Consultant Rota.
My time is divided between Worcester and Birmingham and juggling committments to my enjoyable job, young family and pets. When my youngest son of four is older I hope to take up skiing, running, tennis and horse riding again.Back to top
