I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in lower limb conditions, particularly those affecting the hip and knee.
I treat a wide range of problems, including arthritis and sports injuries, offering both non-surgical and surgical options depending on each patient’s needs. I regularly perform procedures such as knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, as well as hip and knee replacement surgery. I also have expertise in more complex cases, including revision joint surgery and fracture management using less invasive techniques to support recovery.
I completed fellowship training in both Australia and the USA, where I developed advanced skills in modern hip and knee surgery. Working as part of a large orthopaedic team, I also receive referrals for complex lower limb cases, allowing me to support patients who may need more specialised care.
My approach is centred on clear communication. I take time to explain the cause of each patient’s symptoms and talk through all available treatment options, helping them feel confident in their care and decisions.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and staying active outdoors, particularly skiing, sailing and walking. I am also involved in education as a school governor.
