Specialises in
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, with a focus on delivering personalised, patient-centred care.
I treat a wide range of orthopaedic problems, including arthritis and joint pain, and offer both surgical and non-surgical treatments. My primary area of expertise is hip and knee replacement surgery, including both primary and more complex cases. I am also experienced in partial knee replacement and robotic-assisted surgery, using advanced techniques to help improve accuracy, recovery and long-term outcomes for patients.
In addition to joint replacement, I offer treatments such as Arthrosamid injections, providing options for patients who may benefit from non-surgical pain relief before considering surgery.
I completed a specialist fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and Lower Limb Reconstruction at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, which has helped shape my approach to modern, evidence-based practice.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold leadership responsibilities as Clinical Audit and Governance Lead and am involved in the management of complex orthopaedic conditions, including metastatic bone disease, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
I take time to understand each patient’s individual needs and goals, working collaboratively to create tailored treatment plans that support mobility, comfort and quality of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading historical fiction, listening to jazz and exploring the Welsh countryside.
